We are three local Jacksonville women who have a passion for childbirth
and helping women achieve the birth experience they want to have.

|
| Judy Andrews |
| |
|
Judy's desire is to help mothers have a positive birth experience by offering her
knowledge, personal experience, and caring support during labor and delivery. She
believes that a woman’s body was amazingly designed for the experience of childbirth and
that quality support and education are two very important factors in making informed
decisions during childbirth. She is a mother of 3 (all born at home) and became a doula
because of the wonderful experience she had with her doula during the birth of her first
child. She is trained in The Bradley and ICEA childbirth curriculum and is DONA certified.

| Irene Brinkmann |
| |
|
|
Irene has joined the Jacksonville area birthing community hoping to encourage and comfort
women as they participate in the drama of birth. She longs to assist both the mother and
her partner in any way she can, enabling the birth process to be the joyous and empowering
event it was meant to be. Having given birth to six children (including twins), Irene longs
to impart to others anything she may have learned along the way. She received her DONA
training in 2005 and has enjoyed participating in various births, seeking to meet the needs
of those present.
|
| Beverly Andrews |
| |
|
Beverly loves assisting mothers and partners in the birth process
and in meeting their postpartum needs. She has been present for many births,
including the births of her eight grandchildren, which includes 3 home
births. Beverly is DONA trained and finishing her certification. She is also
trained in the ICEA childbirth curriculum. She recently retired from her
full time job to devote more time to her first love-assisting mothers in the
birth process and in the care of newborns.
